In line with our corporate social responsibility, we donated 25 licences of our SEPAL WRFM software to the Department of Geology, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli, Anambra State, Nigeria.
Mr Tunde Farotimi, Technical Operations and Client Support, CypherCrescent Limited, made the official presentation of SEPAL WRFM software to the Vice Chancellor of the school, Prof. Greg Nwakoby. He enlightened the audience that the software donation is aimed at bridging the gap between the academia and the oil & gas industry. The collaboration will enable students understand the integration between geosciences and petroleum engineering in the operate phase of oil & gas assets.
In his remarks, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Greg Nwakoby, thanked CypherCrescent Limited for the kind gesture. He further reiterated that other departments in the institution should emulate the steps taken by the department of geology to attract companies like CypherCrescent.
A training was conducted for the students on the use of our SEPAL software and its efficacy in providing invaluable insights for oil and gas asset optimisation.
Our goal is to explore ways of encouraging the Nigerian academia to acquire digital skills in solving industry challenges.
