SEPAL Injectivity Decline Solution (SEPAL IDS) is an injectivity decline modelling tool that provides a realistic insight to the common problem of injectivity decline caused by solid particles in injection water. It offers a reliable history matching of historical injection data and allows prediction of injectivity decline to enhance realistic design of PWRI procedures and proper planning of injection water treatment and well stimulation.
 

This software package provides a robust physics-based solution to the four distinct stages usually encountered in the injectivity decline process. They include:

Gradual decline of injectivity due to deep bed filtration.

Rapid decrease due to external cake build-up.

Stabilisation due to cake erosion and concurrent rat hole filling by eroded particles.

Exponential decrease in injectivity due to particle-filled well column.
